ChatGPT is indeed a very impressive product, but I also admire the ability of domestic experts to make money. Here are several ways in which people in China make money using ChatGPT:
- Selling accounts: Various accounts registered by machines, with prices ranging from 20 yuan to as low as 3 yuan.
- Building websites and selling advertisements: This is the most common method, where a web page is created and advertisements are placed for people to use, usually with limitations on the number of times.
- Selling software: Various paid software on the iOS App Store.
- Selling usage: Selling usage of WeChat mini programs and web platforms.
- Selling enterprise setup services: Providing team setup solutions and selling setup services.
- Selling courses and articles: Creating anxiety and selling courses related to prompts, selling articles on building ChatGPT.
- Using it to generate articles and short videos.
Of course, it's not to say that the above methods of making money are wrong. Here, I am just listing some hidden security issues for everyone to be aware of when using them.
Registration#
If conditions permit, it is best to register on your own. Here, I will explain the method of selling accounts.
Currently, most accounts available for purchase online are registered by machines, and the price for a single account is generally below 10 yuan.
In addition, the official Plus subscription is priced at $20, which is equivalent to over 130 yuan. However, some merchants on Taobao can sell it for 130 yuan or even lower. These are basically obtained through credit card violations and are also prone to being banned at any time.
Usage#
ChatGPT services deployed in China can generally be considered unsafe because sensitive words are required to be filtered. For websites that have been filed and provide services in China, on one hand, there is sensitive word filtering, and on the other hand, your chat records can also be viewed from the backend.
So, are services deployed overseas safe? Not necessarily. The backend services of ChatGPT are now well-developed. You can take a look at the "Little Fox" system, which is specifically designed for apps and WeChat mini programs. Your chat records can also be easily accessed from the backend.
Recommendations#
If conditions permit, it is best to use ChatGPT's official service directly by setting up a VPN.
If that is not possible, you can use open-source projects to set it up yourself, such as: ChatGPT-web, ChatGPT-next-web.
For those who are not familiar with setting it up, you can use open-source ChatGPT clients, such as: ChatGPT-T.
Lastly, I do not recommend using various free or paid second-hand packaged ChatGPT services.
